In this section, I will be showing how to cook fish head soup with different ingredients. Actually the steps is about the same, just that the ingredients is different. Fish head is well know for its high collagen, protein and carbohydrates, thus is good for complexion. Because fish head has more fish oil compared to the rest of the “fish parts” thus it has high omega-3 and DHA, whihc is good for brains and eyes. There is no particular fish for the dishes I have prepared, but the common fish head I always use is threadfin, salmon and song fish. Because all this fish, their head are quite big enough to make a tasty soup. Normally I buy whole fish for the whole week meal, so it comes with fish head (obviously, hahaha). If buying the whole fish head is not your routine, you can just buy only fish head off the shelve at the fish sections. ****************************************


Nutritional Facts Leek is a low calories and high vitamins A vegetables. It contains anti-oxidants, vitamins and minerals. Ingredients: fish head, leek, tofu (optional), Shallots and ginger Serve: 4 persons Preparation time 30-45mins You can view the video for steps 1. Clean the fish head, dry it with paper towel and put it aside 2. Chop shallots into small piece and cut a few slices of ginger 3. Cut leek into thumb size long 4. Use the cooking pot (for cooking soup). Add in a bit of olive oil. Stir fry shallots till fragrance. 5. Add in ginger and leek 3. Add in fish head, cook till both side slightly golden brown 4. Add in water and salt, turn to high heat. 5.  When boiling add in tofu and boil for another 5mins and serve. Note: – You can add in chinese wine if is only for adult consumption

It also contains Vitamins A and is a low-calories food. Tofu has protein, calcium and iron. Ingredients: Fish head, 1 packet tofu, 1/4 pumpkin, salt Serve: 4 person Preparation time: 45mins to 1hr 1. Clean the fish head, dry it with paper towel and put it aside 2. Use the cooking pot (for cooking soup), put a little bit of olive oil and cook the ginger till frangrance 3. Put in Pumpkin and stir well 4. Add in fish head and cook both side till slightly golden brown 5. Add in water and salt. 6. Turn on high heat and cover till boiling 7. Once it started to boiling, turn heat to medium low and slowly boil till soup turn milk/pumpkin turn soft 8. Add in tofu 9. Boil for another 5 mins 10. Serve Note: – Do not cook tofu for too long otherwise the tofu will be in bits and pieces. – You can add in chinese wine if is only for adult consumption

How we package your order?

The vacuum sealed seafood products and frozen chill packs, which contain non-toxic gel are packed in a polystyrene box, so the chill packs distribute the cold evenly throughout your fish and seafood, ensuring maximum freshness.

We seal the polystyrene box with packing tape and hand it to our cold chain logistic to deliver to you.

What should I do when my order arrives? 

Remove your seafood products as soon as possible from the box, refrigerate all fresh items and freeze all frozen goods until you are ready to prepare them for consumption.

How is your frozen seafood handled? What is your freezing process?

Our fish and shellfish are processed and immediately frozen in our -45°c blast freezer. No chemicals or preservatives are added during the freezing or production process on any of our seafood items.

What is a -45 Degree Freezer and how does it affect the seafood when defrosted?

Blast freezing seafood products at a lower temperature keeps the wall of the cell intact, ensuring that water from the inside does not exit. When defrosted, the quality, texture, and appearance will remain completely intact just as if it were a fresh product.  

What is the proper way to defrost frozen seafood products? 

If you have received frozen seafood and placed it in the freezer, remove these items from the freezer and store them in the refrigerator for at least one day before you plan to serve it. Allow 12 to 24 hours for the product to properly defrost. Do not rush the defrosting process as it can affect the flavor and texture of your seafood.  

Why are some seafood products unavailable from time-to-time?

The availability of seafood products depends upon the season, weather, and other conditions that can affect a catch or harvest. Additionally, the harvesting of many seafood products is regulated in order to maintain a sustainable supply.
