Unlike what people expect from most pond-farmed fish, this sea-farmed fish has a fresh sweet flavour with absolutely no muddy taste! The meat is tender and suitable for braising or steaming. Kukup Golden Snapper is also widely used by restaurants in Singapore to serve at wedding banquets. The taste and texture of Golden Snapper and Red Snapper are highly similar and are often interchangeable in most recipes.
